Earl Nichols died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at a local hospital.
He was the owner of Chipps & Nichols IGA in Prescott, Mich., for 37 years. He was a member of the Foley United Methodist Church and a member of the Questors Sunday School class.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Nichols of Foley; four sons, Robert (Cindy) Nichols of Prescott, Mich., Earl Charles (Penny) Nichols of Prescott, Richard (Pat) Nichols of Katy, Texas, and Val Letts of Alger, Mich.; daughter, Carri Letts of Foley; two sisters, Virginia (Edison) Best of Cape Coral, Fla., and Lauretta (Vern) Deacons of Emery, S.D.; three brothers, Carl (Carol) Nichols of Okmulgee, Okla., Marvin (Shirley) Nichols of Burch Run, Mich., and Elgin (Carol) Nichols of Kawkawlin, Mich.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26 at Foley United Methodist Church.
