Municipal Judge Michael Dasinger swears in Michael Murphy as the new police chief of Loxley at a special ceremony Tuesday night at the Loxley Civic Center. Murphy’s wife Jimmie Lynn and their daughter Mica were by his side for the ceremony. A reception followed, which was attended by well-wishers, friends, town officials, family and representatives of other municipal police departments.
