Harry Paul Nelson, 62, loving husband, father and brother, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007.
He was a native of Lisle, Ill., and a resident of Summerdale and served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1970. He was a finish carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Linda G. Nelson of Summerdale; three children, Lewis A. (Dorothy) Nelson of Highland Home, Natalie M. (Matt) Porterfield of Braidwood, Ill., and Michael A. Nelson of Pensacola, Fla.; stepdaughter, Karen D. Nutter of Pensacola, Fla.; stepson, Stephen W. (Roben) Nutter of Opelika; brother, Donald R. Nelson of Foley; three sisters, Gloria D. (Gardner) Knapp of Foley, Joyce A. Goodwin of Summerdale and Karen L. (Kenneth) Jordahl of Foley; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon Friday, Nov. 16 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley with a memorial service at 1 p.m. from the funeral home chapel.
