Nancy Klooz: ‘…moving forward is always a great thing’

SPANISH FORT, Ala. — A self-described “goal setter,” Nancy Klooz expects great things from her students and herself as she enters the latest phase of a diversified career.

“I’ve had a lot of learning experiences along the way, and some of it has been difficult, but then moving forward is always a great thing.

“I think that kind of flexibility and versatility is a real plus in the classroom,” she said.

Klooz, a 12-year teacher whose most recent jobs include stints at two other Baldwin County schools, said she has taught in both the public and private realms and sees only the highest standards being set in Spanish Fort.

Editor’s Note: New jobs often bring challenges, but in educational settings they can also present opportunities for new arrivals to infuse schools with fresh perspectives and innovative approaches.

This is the fifth in an ongoing series designed to introduce readers to some new faces in the Spanish Fort feeder pattern.
