Nadine Andrews, 93, of Daphne, died peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, July 7, 2013.
Nadine, daughter of Herbert and Verna Bass, was born and raised in Monett, Mo. She was a homemaker and devoted mother, built a sales/management career in the radio industry in northwest Oklahoma and southwest Missouri before moving to Lake Forest about 40 years ago.
While in Lake Forest, she was active developing commercial real estate projects in Alabama and Florida.
She was a member and support staff volunteer of Spanish Fort United Methodist Church.
Nadine was an accomplished golfer, and served on the LFPOA Board of Directors for many years. She assisted with meals on wheels delivery up to age 90.
Survivors include her sons, Hubert Jones of Daphne and Lee Jones (wife, Maria) of Tularosa, N.M.; four grandchildren, Tim, Michelle, Stacey and Brent; 11 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Andrews; and her brother, G.E. “Ed” Bass.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Hughes Funeral Home in Daphne, with visitation beginning at 1. Burial beside her parents will be in Monett I.O.O.F Cemetery, with graveside service at 1:30 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013.
Memorial donations to Meals on Wheels, c/o Ecumenical Ministries, 564 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope, AL 36532 are suggested in lieu of flowers.
