Myrtle Ester Foster Wiggins, 80, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at her residence.
She was the deli manager at Greer’s Food Market in Fairhope.
Mrs. Wiggins loved fishing, gardening and taking care of her animals.
She is survived by her children, Tommy Ray Milstead of Bay Minette and Patricia Ann “Pat” Horton of Bay Minette; one brother, Donnie Gene Foster of Loxley; two grandchildren, Justin Lee Horton of Milton, Fla. and Buffy Ann Johnson of Bay Minette; one great-grandchild, Tyler Blake Horton; and special friend Mattie Lawson and her children and grandchildren of Bay Minette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wiggins; her sister, Alice L. Reid; and one brother, Harold Foster.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 11 a.m., at the Full Power Holiness Church, with the Rev. Joe Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 21, 2013, from 6 p.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Full Power Holiness Church.
Pallbearers will be Pete Burger, Jimmy Burger, John Boyington, Louise Harville, Jerry Greek and Barry Philyaw.
