Evan Michael Murphy, 60, of Elberta, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008 at his home.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his mother, Janet Metz of Moulton; two daughters, Michaela Murphy and Patricia Muphy, both of Austin, Texas; son, Evan P. Murphy of New York; three sisters, Joyce Dvito of Charlott, N.C., Hazel Morrison of Moulton and Mary Glover of Houston; and a special friend, Millie Bower of Elberta.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by Cason Funeral Service, Foley.
