Mr. Virgil Fred Davis, age 92, passed away on Jan. 2, 2016.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of McCaysville, Ga. and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Arvil Davis; and mother, Mary Ethel German Davis.
He is survived by his son, Robert (Shay) Davis; daughter, Jeannine (Jim) Gray; sister, Helen Brooks; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be at Pine Rest Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016 at 11 a.m.
