Mr. Hubert Lee "Buddy" Bryars, 72, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016 in Bay Minette, Alabama.
Mr. Bryars was a native and lifelong resident of Bay Minette, Alabama.
Mr. Bryars was a retired pulpwooder/Earl Forestry Products. He attended the Fretwell Tabernacle Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Syble Bryars; son, Don Bryars; and a sister, Barbara Davis.
He is survived by his two daughters, Shelia Edwards of Monroeville, Alabama and Tammy Kerr of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Mason Bryars of Perdido, Alabama and Ronnie Bryars of Bay Minette, Alabama; three sisters, Judy Welch of Bay Minette, Alabama, Mazie Thompson of Plantersville, Texas and Paulette Bass of Bay Minette, Alabama; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, with Sis. Helen Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Michael Thompson, Patrick Bryars, Bill Caraway, William Davis, Jason Brown, Rufus Thompson Jr., Wes Cook and Everette Andrews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Stoney Shivers, Tim Caraway, Ricky McGhee and Johnny Brown.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
