Mr. Elzie Hadley, 95, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at a Bay Minette Hospital.
Mr. Hadley was a native of Lottie, and resident of Perdido, for all his life. Mr. Hadley was retired from the Alabama Dry-dock and Shipbuilding Company with 32 years of service. Mr. Hadley attended Pleasant Plains Church. Survivors include, his wife of 70 years, Eulalia Hadley of Perdido; two sons, Johnny Hadley of Perdido, and ONeal (Debbie) Hadley of Perdido; two grandchildren, Kevin (Jonie) Hadley and Shane (Alexis) Hadley of Perdido; two great-grandchildren, Trenton Hadley and Coleman Dove. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Malcolm Harrelson, Bro. James Peacock and Bro. Sammy Thomley officiating. Burial will follow at the Bryars-McGill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 4:30 to 9 p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Leon Hall, Ronnie Peacock, Steve Hicks, Norris Hall, Glenn Hicks and Donnie Lee Hicks. Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC in charge of all arrangements, Atmore.
