A 29-year-old Summerdale man was killed Thursday afternoon when his motorcycle struck a sport utility vehicle at the intersection of the Foley Beach Express and Baldwin County Road 20.

Joshua Scott Daniel-Walters of County Road 9 was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Lt. David White of the Foley Police Department.

White said Daniel-Walters’ motorcycle was southbound and the SUV was northbound when the driver of the SUV turned into the motorcycle’s path. The crash is still under investigation, White said.
