Esther Dill Moser, born Sept. 7 in Mobile, died peacefully, Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009 at Mercy Medical Hospital, surrounded by family and friends.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and sister. She was an active member of The Women’s Exchange of Memphis, The Little Garden Club of Memphis, Garden Club of America, Memphis Junior League, Veterans Hospital Volunteer, and a Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Alabama.
She was an active member of the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, J. Edgar Moser of Spanish Fort; two sons, Ed (Kerrie) Moser, Bill (Sarah) Moser; a daughter, deLancey (Ben) Erickson; a brother, William J. Mahoney of Montgomery; six grandchildren, Bill (Tina) Erickson, Ashley Moser, Ben (Beth) Erickson, Allen Moser, deLancey Moser and John Moser; and two great-grandchildren, Siddha and Will.
Visitation begins at 2 p.m. with funeral services at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 28788 N. Main St., Daphne, AL. 36526.
