Richard “Dick” Lee Moore, 62, a native of Battles Wharf, a lifelong resident of Fish River, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, after a brief illness.
He was a graduate of Auburn University and a professional engineer with Lerio Corp., where he held multiple patents. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence H. “Stump” Moore.
Survivors include his wife, Paige Hornung Moore of Fairhope; son, Bryan (Andrea) Moore of Austin, Texas; daughter, Hayley (Tim) Gregorius of Fairhope; his mother, Wanda Moore of Fairhope; three grandchildren, Cole and Jack Gregorius, and Layla Moore; mother- and father-in-law, John and Ann Hornung; two sisters-in-law, Carol Ann Rishell and Lois McKibbon; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 2 p.m. with funeral services at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 157, Summerdale, AL 36580.
