Mobile-home park plans fuzzy

SPANISH FORT, Ala. — The Planning Commission will reexamine a request for siteplan approval for a proposed five-lot manufactured home park during the regular July meeting.

The request, brought by Sinking Ship LLC, seeks to develop the Spanish Brook Manufactured Home Park on Spanish Brook Drive East, but the commission ruled during the June 14 meeting that the plans left too many questions unanswered to render an immediate decision and gave developers Mike Dasinger and Russ Copeland additional time to address the issues. Neither man was present during Monday’s informal work session, but Building Official Bruce Renkert said after speaking with Dasinger earlier in the day, he is confident the items will be addressed prior to the July 12 meeting.
