Godfrey D. Mitchell, 91, a native of Dallas and a resident of Silverhill, died Tuesday, June, 24, 2007.
He retired from South Western Bell in 1980 and was a Telephone Pioneer for 50 years and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Dallas for 50 years.
Survivors include a son, James D. (Sheryl) Mitchell of Dallas; sister, Lillian Mitchell of Silverhill; nieces, nephews; and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
