David Allen Milstead, 58, a native of Fairhope and resident of Daphne, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at a local hospital.
He was a veteran of the army and served in Vietnam. He received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
Survivors include a daughter, Dawn (Robert) Boyington of Robertsdale; two sisters, Rose Milstead (Richard) Hall of Fairhope, and Janice (Roy) Carney of Kansas City, Mo.; two grandchildren, Cassie Gregg and Tucker Boyington; and niece, Sarah Hall.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. followed by graveside services wqith military honors at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8 at Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
