Michael W. “Mike” Smith, 51, a native and resident of Fairhope, died Friday, May 24, 2013.
He was “THE MAN.” Mr. Smith liked fishing, Alabama football and going to the boats. He loved his kids.
Mike married the love of his life, Terry. They were high school sweethearts, enjoying many years together, especially the most recent few years.
He is survived by loving and caring wife, Terry H. Smith of Fairhope; daughter, Allison Michelle Smith of Moss Point, Miss.; three sons, Michael W. Smith Jr. of Cadillac, Mich., and John Evan Curtis and Kohl Inge Curtis, both of Fairhope; mother, Doris K. Smith of Wickliffe, Kent.; sister, Teresa A. Epperson of Alexander City, Ala.; two brothers, Harold B. Smith of Wickliffe, Kent. and Richard A. “Ricky” (Jacqueline) Smith of Fairhope; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends, including his devoted companions, Chason Trevathon, Dale Bywater, Kathy Trione and Lisa McMahon.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 27, 2013, at 2:30 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home chapel with a visitation one hour prior to the service at Mack Funeral Home.
