Michael Edward Haney Jr., 87, of Foley passed away Oct. 28, 2013.
He was a graduate of Indiana University.
He served his country in the United States Navy as a corpsman in World War II.
He is survived by his wife of more than 59 years, Gloria Haney of Foley; two sons, Michael Joseph Haney Sr. of Orange Beach and Stephen G. Haney of Auburn; one daughter, Mary Margaret Hanthorne of Lafayette, Ind.; one brother, John Haney of Ohio; one sister, Rose Mary DaPuzzo of Indiana; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at 11 a.m., from St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Foley, with interment to follow in Prince of Peace Cemetery in Elberta.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Service.
