FOLEY, Ala. — The Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast Committee met recently to finalize preparations for the upcoming event on Thursday at the Foley United Methodist Church Spirit Center on Pine Street.
The prayer breakfast honors and recognizes the mayors of Foley, Magnolia Springs and Elberta and is an event that supports Ecumenical Ministries programs.
The guest speaker at this year’s event is Jeremiah Castille, an Alabama All-American, foundation president and chaplain for the Alabama Football team.
Tickets are on sale at Ecumenical Ministries, Volkert, Foley City Hall and Riviera Utilities. Tickets are $100 for a book of seven or $15 each. Make plans to join the committee on the National Day of Prayer at 6:30 am for breakfast and the program will start promptly at 7 a.m. The National Day of Prayer is a special day in the life of a community.
