Mary Martin Stearns, 83, a native of Butler County and a longtime resident of Fairhope, passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2013.
Mrs. Stearns was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon W. Stearns.
She is survived by her daughters, Sherry McGill of Silverhill, Deborah (Danny) Hawke of Fairhope and Laura (Sam) Jones of Fairhope; grandchildren, Cliff (Marci) Owen, Joe (Kristi) McGill, J. D. (Brooke) Hawke, Anna Hawke, Bo Jones and Kelly Jones (Taylor) South; four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held from St. James Episcopal Church, on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until the service time.
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
