Mary Lou Banks, 74, a native of Finchburg and a resident of Daphne, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Banks; and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Banks.
Survivors include four daughters, Glenda R. Banks, Margaret (Alex) Miller, Carolyn Banks, all of Daphne, and Lisa Banks of Denver; son, Henry L. (Dorothy) Banks of Fairhope; two sisters, Jessia Prater and Elizabeth Wright, both of Daphne; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; a devoted nephew, Bobby Banks; other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
