Mary Helen Hadley Emmons, 93, a native and resident of Rabun, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at Atmore Community Hospital.
She was a retired seam buster at Mannor Slacks.
She is survived by her children, Joyce Emmons Roberson of Atmore, Robert Charles “Bobby” (Ruth) Emmons of Little River, Gwen Emmons Blue (Herschel) McGraw of Bay Minette and Judy Emmons (Otis) Thames of Bay Minette; a sister, Betty Stewart of Bay Minette; sister-in-law, Ethel Hadley of Rabun; granddaughters, Gayle Roberson Nall, Tonya Blue Young, Kelly Thames Thompson, Carol Emmons Brown and Kim Blue Shahi; grandsons, Wayne Roberson and Ken Roberson; great-grandsons, Christopher Young, Dustin Nall, Cody Nall, Troy Emmons, Josh Brown and Hunter Thompson; great-granddaughters, Ashley Young, Haley Thompson and Railee Shahi; and great-great-grandson, Coltyn Nall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Emmons; a son, Dennis Von Emmons; and a grandson, Dennis Charles Emmons.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at 11 a.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Guy’s Chapel Methodist Cemetery, with the Rev. Ottis Thames officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, from 9 until 11 a.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Roberson, Ken Roberson, Dustin Nall, Cody Nall, Donnie Hicks and Tony Stewart.
Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to Guy’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
