Mary Agnes Swindle Kronenberg Crawford, 93, an iconic RN in our area, passed peacefully at home on Hammock Bay in Elberta on Jan. 6, 2014 with her daughters, Ann Crawford and Jill McGuire by her side.
She is also survived by three brothers, Jack Swindle of Foley, Tom Swindle of Seminole and Bill Swindle of Walnut Creek, Calif.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Gant of Parrish, Ala.; brothers, Joe Swindle of Foley and Sam Swindle of Perdido Beach; and her first husband, Cal Kronenberg of Birmingham.
Grandchildren include, Daniel McGuire, Trudie McGuire and Aylin Kerimoglu.
Mary will be cremated, and a memorial gathering will take place at the Crawford Compound when the azaleas are in bloom.
