Elizabeth Delores Hapmshire “L.B.” Marshall, born March 9, 1926 in Blacksher, died Monday, June 21, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Alexander Hampshire and Emma Kennedy Hampshire; her husband, Edgar Lee Marshall Sr.; two sons, Alexander Hampshire and Edgar Lee Marshall Jr.; sister, Estelle Jones; and one granddaughter, Trilene Dortch.
Survivors include 10 children, Russell (Jackie) Cannon, Betty (Eddie) Ballard, Helen Marshall, Katherine (Roosevelt) Valree, James (Emma) Marshall, John (Carolyn) Marshall, Albert (Deloris) Marshall, Robert (Monica) Marshall, Calvin Marshall and Emma Marshall; sister, Catherine Brown of Detroit; a host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 29 at Tate Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Little River.
Arrangements are by Mayberry Funeral Home, Atmore.
