Mark A. Tidwell, 50, of Kennesaw, Ga., went home to be with his Lord, March 21, 2014 after a five-year battle with cancer.
He is survived by his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. (Patty) Bob Tidwell; his wife; two sons; a daughter; two granddaughters; two brothers; and many extended family members.
Mark was an area director for Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Metro Atlanta, and had his own ministry, “Leave A Mark.” Much of his life and ministry can be viewed at leaveamarknow.com/blog.
The family will receive friends at Wildwood Baptist Church in Acworth, Ga. on Friday, March 28, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m., with a celebration of his life and work, Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 11 a.m., at the same location.
