Marjorie Gladys Smith Rider, 88, a native and resident of the White House Fork Community of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Drucilla “Dru” (Albert) Deane.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Floyd M. “Pete” Rider of White House Fork; two daughters, Delores “Dee” (John McKee) Cain and Darnell “Doli” (Johnny) Boyington, both of White House Fork; two brothers, McNeal Smith and Billy Gene Smith, both of White House Fork; one sister, Agnes Rider of White House Fork; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 at White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Fred Stallworth and Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery.
