Margaret Evelyn "Peggy" Hooper, a native of Plymouth, England and resident of Silverhill, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013. She was 94 years old.
Mrs. Hooper is preceded in death by her husband, John C. Hooper Jr; sons, David Steven Hooper and John Carlton Hooper III; sister, Betty Martin; brother, Ron Jackson and niece, Avril Durden. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Bill) Olsen of Silverhill; daughter-in-laws, Cathy Hooper and Jeniece Bouzan; grandchildren, Michael Paul (Janie) Olsen of Silverhill, Robert Carlton (Lisa) Hooper of Robertsdale, Michelle Hooper (Marty) Majors of Foley, and Carla Hooper of Silverhill; great-grandchildren, Catherine Brown and Erica Brown of Foley, Bryn Hooper and Liam Hooper of New Orleans, and Jamison Barnes of Robertsdale, Blakely and Jaxon Hooper, Dacia McCord, and Michalea Olsen, all of Silverhill. She was along time member St. Johns Episcopal Robertsdale. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at Pine Rest Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 at Pine Rest Memorial Park with interment to follow.Funeral arrangements are by Pine Rest Funeral Home.
