Margaret Barlow Fletcher Clark, 92, died peacefully in Miami, Fla. on Saturday, April 20, 2013.

Margaret was a native of Bay Minette, and daughter of the late William (Bill) Hoit Fletcher and Ethel Moore Fletcher.

Margaret was a descendant of the Barlow and Kilcrease families, who settled in the Tensaw region in the late 18th century.

She attended Bay Minette High School and Auburn University.

She enjoyed a professional career as a contractor with the U.S. Air Force and with Lockheed Aircraft, and spent most of her life living in California and Florida.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary Marshall Williams and Gertrude Fletcher; and her brother, Charles Tenant Fletcher.

She is survived by her two children, daughter, Virginia Clark Wilber of Fort Worth, Texas; and son, Deryck Clark of Stuart, Fla.; her three nephews, Charles (Chuck) Fletcher, David Williams and Charles Williams; and her three nieces, Kathy Smith, Alma Thompson and Sarah Barton.

The funeral service will be held at Immanuel Episcopal Church in Bay Minette at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, with the Rev. Mark McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 1 until the 2 p.m. service at Immanuel Episcopal Church.
