Carolyn Wages March, 70, a native of Mobile and a resident of Loxley died at her home Thursday, April 19, 2007.

She was the daughter of James Hampton and Lora Mae Silcox, born March 24, 1937. She was a physician’s assistant and office manager for nearly 30 years for Dr. George Markham March at Plateau Medical and a former manager of the Dairy Spin in Loxley.

Survivors include her husband George March of Loxley; two daughters, Donna Wages (Gary) Wofford of Loxley and DeWanna Wages (Bryan) Kegley of Mobile; two sons, Danny (Cindy) Wages of Cleveland, Tenn., and Donald Wages of Mobile; two step-daughters, Wynona (Harold) Swails of Mobile and Louise (Tim) Iliff of Daphne; two step-sons, George (Lana) March of Mobile and William (Diane) March of Dauphin Island; four brothers, Calvin Silcox of Milton, Fla., Conrad (Yvonne) Silcox of Milton, Corky Silcox of Mobile and the Rev. Curtis (Paula) Silcox of Huntsville; one sister, Catherine (William) Williams of Fayetteville, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 22 at Bay Community Church in Malbis.

Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Good News Ministries, 61 Boning Road, Fayetteville, TN 37334.
