Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation’s signature fundraiser, Phantasy of the Arts, The Battle for Mobile Bay 2011 was a terrific success, raising almost $51,000 for Fairhope’s public schools.
The event was made possible through tremendous community support, dedicated volunteers, some of the region’s most talented chefs and an entrepreneur with a flair for fashion.
FEEF extends its gratitude to all the corporate sponsors and volunteers who played a role in making the evening a success. In addition, we would like to thank the following individuals for their time and support: Event co-chairs Dana Kasuba and Coleman Mills; committee chairs, Robin Coleman, Dina Floyd, Elizabeth Hammock, Elizabeth Phyfer and Carlton Spinks; administration, Helen Chappelle; and video production Shannon Finch. Rod Koberg, owner of Gulf South Infrasystems and Phantasy benefactor provided the evening’s Promethean boards as well as a generous donation.
Many thanks to the chefs for their creative entrees and appetizers featuring a southern comfort theme: Ryan Glass, Camellia Café, Benjamin Hargett, Bravo Tacos, Tony Nicholas, The Hungry Owl, Marty Pollock, The Battle House, Chris Rainosek, The Wash House, Wes True, True, Marc Walden, Little House Bistro and Mike Wallace, The Grand Hotel. A note of appreciation also goes out to mixologists from Lulu’s and True for providing the evening’s beverages.
Our thanks also to James Starnes of J. Edward Beauty who coordinated the evening’s fashion show for guests’ enjoyment.
The collaborative efforts of all will play a significant role in enhancing public education in Fairhope.
