Ezra Eugene Malone, 45, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at the Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.
He was self-employed as a carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Claude Mims.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Jiles Malone of Montgomery; his mother, Annie Hayes Mims of Virginia; his father, Alton Malone of Selma; two daughters, Latoya Walker of Pensacola, Fla., Tranette Mims Porter; sons, Eugene, Cordelia of Pensacola, Fla., Jonta, Jefferey of Montgomery, Terrence of Century and Emmanuel of Montgomery; three sisters, Patricia (Bobby) Stromas of Pensacola, Fla., Roshell (Ernest) Thomas of Selma and Terria (Daminion) Lewis of Fortlee, Va.; four brothers, Timothy Malone, Antonia Hayes of Pensacola, Fla., Antonio Malone of Selma and Alton Hayes of Houston; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Miracle Temple Holiness Church in Century, Fla., with Pastor Jasper Brown officiating. Burial followed at Century Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Chapel LLC, Atmore.
