Royce was very interested in alternative therapies involving cancer. He received vitamin C therapy, but we had to drive long distances to get it. It improved his energy levels immensely.
It was his hope that it would become a mainstream part of cancer treatment one day.
The University of Kansas Medical Center’s Department of Integrative Medicine is partnering with the University of Kansas Cancer Center to provide a clinical trial testing the effects of intravenous vitamin C infusions in cancer patients. Research shows that intravenous vitamin C at high doses, used in conjunction with conventional therapy, kills cancer cells in the early stages of the disease.
It is also shown to improve quality of life for those in any stage of the disease.
