One of the area’s most anticipated charitable events will return this spring as the South Baldwin Newcomers Club announces the annual Toast to the Coast fundraiser, The Magnolia Charity Gala, set for April 17 at 6 p.m. at the Erie H. Meyer Civic Center in Gulf Shores.
According to a news release, the gala is planned as an elegant evening that celebrates Southern hospitality and community spirit while honoring the people who help South Baldwin County thrive. Guests will enjoy light bites, beverages, music and dancing along with raffle and auction opportunities. Semi-formal, Southern-inspired attire is encouraged for commemorative photo moments during the event.
The focus of the night is its mission to raise scholarship funds for Baldwin County students who show character, leadership and service. Proceeds from the event will directly support local youth and help invest in the area’s future.
The 2025–2026 club year also marks the 30th anniversary of the South Baldwin Newcomers Club. Founded in 1995, the organization began as a way for new and longtime residents to connect and experience the Gulf Coast lifestyle. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the club has supported local charities and awarded scholarships through the generosity of members, sponsors and community partners.
Community members are invited to attend the gala as the organization celebrates friendships and the future of South Baldwin County. Ticket information will be announced closer to event.
