Lynn Pollard Seymour, 58, a resident of Semmes, passed away June 18, 2013.
Lynn was a 1978 graduate of the University of Alabama, where she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She left nursing in order to be a stay-at-home mom with her daughter, Ashleigh.
Lynn did return to work as a tag clerk for the Mobile County License Commissioner’s office.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Pollard; and a brother, Albert Pollard.
She is survived by a loving husband, Tony Seymour of Semmes; daughter, Ashleigh (Jerrod) Sheffield of Bay Minette; mother, Patsy Wallace Pollard of Philadelphia, Pa.; sister, Vicki Pollard (Curtis) Maier of Philadelphia; brother, Woody Pollard of Mobile; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Lynn was a longtime member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, an avid reader and she enjoyed cooking and spending time with friends and family.
A visitation will be held from 9 until 10 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Mack Funeral Home, with funeral services starting at 10. Interment will be in the Wallace Cemetery, Gulf Shores.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church in Mobile.
