Lynn Crosby Clark, 69, a native of north Baldwin County died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 at her home in Bay Minette.

Lynn was a graduate of Birmingham Southern College with a bachelor of arts in music.

Lynn was a bright and beautiful woman. She was creative and elegant, and had a terrific sense of style. She possessed a wonderful sense of humor and a quick wit, but was sensitive and tenderhearted.

Children, God’s creatures and those less fortunate held a special place in her heart. Above all else, Lynn was the most loving and fiercely devoted mother, grandmother, sister and daughter.

She loved and enjoyed her immediate and extended family.

She is survived by her two children, Loren Clark (Lee) Powell, Memphis, Tenn. and Jay Clark, Bend, Ore. She adored and was adored by her two grandchildren, Lillie and Jack Powell; her beloved brothers and sister, John Dugald (Martha) Crosby III, Jim Crosby and Bettigrey (Ray) Hollingsworth; their children and families, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

Graveside funeral services and burial will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., at Stockton Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Sidney Leak officiating.

Immediately following the service a reception for family and friends will be held in the parlor at Stockton Presbyterian Church.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
