Walter Mack Lymon, a long time resident of Foley, born July 8, 1932, in Camen, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at his residence.

He was a member of Bibleway Holiness Church, and was affectionately known to many as “Jack.”

He is preceded in death by a son, Randy Earl Lymon; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lymon; one sister and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Lymon of Foley; three daughters, Daisy Lymon and Lisa Lymon, both of Foley; and Johnnie Reeves of Pensacola, Fla.; four sons, Walter (Margaret) Lymon Jr. of Atmore, Willis Lymon, Gene (Lucille) Lymon and Charlie Lymon, all of Foley; four sisters, Peggy (General) Finney of Atmore, Mary Jackson of Mobile, Clara Rudolph of Detroit, and Australia Yearling of Foley; brother, Albert Lymon of Detroit; six brothers-in-law, Marshall Gibbs of Monroeville, Lonnie Casey of Foley, Leroy (Velma) James and Michael James, both of Foley, Isreal James and David James, both of Fairhope; seven sisters-in-law, Jackie Watts and Helen (Ruben) Flemmons, both of Foley, Josephine (Bookie) Gains of Daphne, Voncille Campbell, Mary James and Lovella James, all of Fairhope; two devoted friends, Joseph Pattern and John Jackson; 32 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The Lymon family would like to thank Asera Care, Dr. Hakmiller, and all the nurses, Bonnie Chatham, Rhonda Cotton, Michael Bonham, Vicki Carrier, and special thanks to Donnie Castleberry.

Visitation begins at noon with funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 17 at Bibleway Holiness Church. Interment and graveside services will follow at South Side Cemetery.
