Frederick William Luddeke, 89, born Feb. 19, 1919 in Staten Island, N.Y., a resident of Fairhope, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae McGill Luddeke of Fairhope; daughter, Charlotte Luddeke (Perry) Vaughn of Fairhope; son, Duane (Darlene) Luddeke of Birmingham; eight grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at Pine Rest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
