Lucie R. Christnacht Suarez, 91, a native of Perdido Beach and a resident of Pensacola, Fla., died Monday, Nov. 1, 2010.
She was known for her strong love of her Lord, family and friends, and passing out goody bags to the children. She will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, LeRoy Christnacht; and her second husband, Don P. “Bud” Suarez.
Survivors include a daughter, Lucie Ann (Don Resmondo) of Pensacola, Fla.; grandchildren, Kimberly Sweeney of Pensacola and Alex Sweeney of Brewton; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Chrisha and Rebekah Vrachalus, Nicholas, Dyllan and Savannah Sweeney; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Sunnenberg and his staff and Covenant Hospice for their excellent care.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley with the Rev. Scott Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Alex Sweeney, Nick Sweeney, Don Rohan, David Rohan, Bill Rohan and William Johnson Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Babe Rohan, Irmie Resmondo, David Resmendo and William Johnson Sr.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 6601 N. Ninth Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504, or Covenant Hospice, 2001 N. Palafox St., Pensacola, FL 32501.
