Loxley sex offender indicted for failure to give notice of move

BAY MINETTE, Ala. — A convicted sex offender from Loxley has been indicted for failure to notify authorities before establishing a residence near two daycare centers, according to Baldwin County District Court records.

Ryan Anthony Jacobs, 35, of Northgate Circle, was arrested Nov. 25, 2009, and indicted April 6. He was released on a $5,000 bail, jail records state.

He will be arraigned June 10.

Convicted sex offenders must notify authorities of intent to move to a new location at least 30 days prior to the move.
