The towns of Silverhill and Loxley held Christmas festivities over the weekend.
Silverhill hosted its annual Christmas Parade on Friday night. Rains came but spirits were not dampened as residents lined Highway 104 to welcome Santa to town.
On Saturday, Silverhill hosted its annual photos with Santa at the new Silverhill Community Center, sponsored by United Bank. Proceeds from the event benefit the Silverhill Kids Park.
Early fog lifted and the sun came out for the annual Loxley Christmas parade held Saturday morning. Santa and his sleigh rode atop a Loxley fire truck and the Jolly Ole Elf welcomed kids at the Loxley Municipal Park following the parade.
On Saturday night, Loxley's own City Rhythm Big Band hosted their annual Christmas Ball at the Loxley Civic Center.
