Dorothe “Dudie” Peters Lowles, 86, died Saturday, April 28, 2007 in Evergreen Colo.
She was a longtime resident of Montrose and Fairhope and was a lady of true grace and style — in her life and attitude.
Her varied interests included reading, needlepoint, local artists, and the protection of small animals.
She was a member of Embroider’s Guild of America, the Junior Auxiliary of the Eastern Shore, a patron of the Eastern Shore Art Center and an Altar Guild member at St. James Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Lowles, and son, Scott Bowron.
Survivors include daughter, Jane Wheatley; three sons, Pete Bowron, Mark Bowron and Chip Bowron; three step-sons, Dave Lowles, Tom Lowles and Allen Lowles; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will also be greatly missed by many dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 16 at St. James Episcopal Church in Fairhope.
