Lois Estelle Chancery, 70, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 in Robertsdale.

Mrs. Chancery was a native of Mobile and a resident of Perdido for the past 52 years.

She was a floral designer for 25 years in Atmore, and she attended the Splinter Hill Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy B. Hastings; a sister, Fay Braley; and a brother, Howard Hastings Sr.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert Chancery of Perdido; a daughter, Terri (Mike) Dawson of Perdido; a brother, Ronald Hastings of West Virginia; a sister, Glenda Hastings of Bay Minette; a grandson, Wesley Rabren of Perdido; three step-granddaughters, April Rabren of Virginia, Jessie Tyson of Auburn and Amanda Wiles of Auburn; four great-grandchildren, Aaron Tyson, Jacob Wiles, Alyssa and Aleigha Long; and children she raised, Chasity Eady, Angie Amos, Abby Baggett and Crystal Hadley Stabler.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, at 11 a.m., at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home in Atmore, with the Rev. Angelo Thomley and Sister Thursa Long officiating. Burial will follow at the Bryars-McGill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Amos, Blaine Shiver, Marty Wilson, Richard Long, Michael Thomley and Mark Thomley.

The honorary pallbearer will be Josh Thomley.
