FAIRHOPE - The Baldwin County Probate Office in Fairhope has been temporarily relocated starting today to the old cafeteria next to the current location of Fairhope Intermediate School. The temporary probate office is located at 1101 Fairhope Ave., which is one block east of the Fairhope Satellite Courthouse. Staff Report

The local probate office is being relocated Wednesday, Dec. 1, due to renovations at the courthouse, according to a Baldwin County news release. All probate services will continue for the public at the new office location, the release stated.

“We would like to thank all the citizens for working with us during this interim period,” Baldwin County Probate Judge Tim Russell stated. “We will eventually be expanding the facilities and adding additional space but will continue to serve your needs during this time.”

The probate office is expected to be in its temporary location until approximately June 2011, according to the release.
