Chef Bill Briand of little bird in Fairhope will bring back his Southern Grace Dinner series this November, welcoming two other acclaimed Southern chefs for a one-night-only, five-course dining experience.

Briand, a five-time James Beard Award nominee, will host two-time James Beard Award nominee Chef Erik Niel of Easy Bistro & Bar, Main Street Meats and Little Coyote, along with five-time James Beard Award semifinalist Chef David Bancroft of Acre and Bow & Arrow.

The dinner is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 12, beginning at 6 p.m. at little bird. The restaurant is located at 404 Oak Ave. in Fairhope.

The evening will open with a signature cocktail and an opportunity for guests to mingle with the featured chefs. The cocktail reception will give diners a chance to hear the chefs' stories before the five-course seated dinner begins.

Each chef will bring a distinct culinary perspective to the menu. Bancroft will draw from his farm-to-table philosophy and the gardens and orchards at Acre. Niel will showcase the influence of his Louisiana roots and French training while celebrating the flavors of the Tennessee River Valley.

Briand will bring the chefs' contributions together with the flavors associated with little bird, creating a menu that combines the restaurant's Southern approach with the individual styles of its guest chefs.

Guests also will have the option to add wine pairings selected by Will Jones, little bird's wine director.

The Southern Grace Dinner series brings some of the South's most celebrated chefs to the Gulf Coast for evenings centered on food, Southern hospitality and connection. Each dinner begins with a cocktail reception featuring a signature cocktail and time to mingle with the featured chef. The reception is followed by a five-course seated dinner, with each course served alongside little bird's signature Southern hospitality.
