Karen Linton, 52, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, after a long struggle with a terminal illness.

She was born in Pensacola, Fla. The family moved to Elberta in 1971. She was a graduate of Foley High School and Faulkner State Community College. She worked for a law firm in Tampa, Fla., for several years. She then returned to Baldwin County where she was a paralegal for many years.

She had many hobbies, and was very talented and creative. She did beautiful work in arts and crafts.

Survivors include a daughter, Julia Linton; her parents, John and Vermell Kichler; two sisters, Debra Kaiser and Donna Kichler; three brothers, Ronald Kichler, Kevin (Karen) Kichler and Marty (Gwen) Kichler; 10 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Nov. 18 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Elberta. Interment followed at Prince Of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
