Linnie B. Parker Hadley — Born July 13, 1921 in Pineville, Fla., departed this life a resident of Loxley on Jan. 15, 2014.
Mrs. Hadley was a longtime and faithful member of Loxley Church of God and a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend to many.
Mrs. Hadley was preceded in death by her husband, Peat “Buster” Hadley.
She is survived by her children, Charles Everette Hadley, Edward “Pete” (Julia) Hadley, Linda (Walter) Hall, Lois (Leonard) Roberson, Lola Ryals, Earl (Dottie) Hadley, Lilly (Billy) Middleton, Elaine (Derial) Giles and Charles “Bubba” (Cyndy) Hadley; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
A visitation for Mrs. Hadley will be held at Loxley Church of God, 5220 S. Hickory St. (Highway 59) in Loxley, on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at 9 a.m., with service to begin at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Loxley.
The family would like to thank those friends who regularly visited and encouraged, as well as prayed for our mother during the last years of her life. Thank you to those compassionate caregivers at Robertsdale Healthcare Center and Covenant Hospice for their service and support.
