Linda Carol Diedtrich Stewart, 60, born in Gettysburg, S.D. and a resident of Perdido, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Donald Stewart of Perdido; seven children, Joni (Chris) Maher of Pensacola, Garrin (Stephanie) Stewart of Rhode Island, Renee (Joe) McLendon of Theodore, Reba (Rick) Wesson of Weogufka, Ala., Derrick (Candi) Stewart of Andalusia, Katrina (Sid) Gambrell of Talladega and Gaylon (Dawn) Stewart of Frankfort, Ill.; one brother, Arnold Diedtrich Jr. of Aberdeen, S.D.; three sisters, Janice Diedtrich of Crestview, Fla., Holly Fjeldheim of Pollock, S.D. and Irene Baird of Rapid City, S.D.; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Henry and Ester Mildred Austinson Diedtrich.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette, with the Rev. Robert Lord officiating. Burial will follow at Perdido Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, from 1 until the 2 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Stewart, Gaylon Stewart, Bryce Stewart, Keely Stewart, Chris Maher and Wendell Foster.
