Pack 70 Cub Scouts visited Fox 10's Chief Meteorologist Jason Smith. The purpose of the outing was to learn about weather, equipment used to interpret storms and weather, and to earn the weather belt loop and pin.

The boys got the opportunity to experience what it was like to track the weather, and stand in front of the blue screen and tell the weather forecast. They also learned that Mr. Smith was also a cub scout and later a boy scout. Pack 70 would like to thank Fox 10 and Mr. Smith for inviting us to the studio, and working with our scouts.
