Life & Legacy Foundation and Art Tour visits Baldwin schools

Posted

During the week of Feb. 21, Wendy Rodrigue visited Baldwin County for the Life & Legacy Foundation and Art Tour. She went to nine Baldwin County high schools and middle schools to show students original, museum-quality paintings by her late husband, George Rodrigue. The tour also featured "unique, unplugged presentations focused on art and storytelling — all with the hopes of inspiring and engaging students through the arts," she said.

The tour was sponsored by Superintendent Eddie Tyler and the Baldwin County Education Coalition and organized by Amy Plunkett, supervisor, curriculum & instruction, Fine Arts, Health & Physical Education, Baldwin County School District.

Rodrigue founded the Life & Legacy Foundation and Art Tour in 2017 in honor of her late husband. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. For more information, visit www.legacyarttour.org. For more information on George Rodrigue and his art, visit https://georgerodrigue.com.
