ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce invites you to “Let the Good Times Roll” at its 40th annual banquet Thursday, Jan. 21 at the Baldwin County Coliseum in Robertsdale.

“This is just a great opportunity for our members to enjoy some good food and spend time together,” said chamber director of operations Gail Quezada. “It’s an opportunity to celebrate our accomplishments and look forward to the future.”

This is an upscale evening with a reception and dinner with an estimated attendance of 400.

Included in the program will be a short presentation on the newest Chamber benefit, the “Save Local Now” program which is free for all chamber members, Quezada said.

Presenting sponsor for this year’s event is Baldwin EMC. Tickets are still available at a cost of $45 per person.

The event kicks off with social hour at 5 p.m., featuring a silent auction, music, hors d’oeuvres and adult beverages. There will be a 50/50 drawing, along with several drawings for smaller ticket items, including a 32-inch Visio television and a 32-ounce Yeti cup, leading up to a featured raffle drawing for a Henry Golden Boy Military Service Tribute Edition rifle donated by Campbell Hardware in Robertsdale.

Tickets for the rifle, estimated retail value $1,200, are being sold at the Chamber and will be available at the event up until the time of the drawing. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. You don’t have to be present to win.

Tickets for smaller raffle items will be available at the event for $1 each, Quezada said.

Dinner will be served at 6:30, catered again this year by Café Acadiana of Silverhill with the program set to begin at 7 p.m.

DJ Jim Parker will provide jazz music as entertainment for the event.

Awards will be presented for the “Business of the Year,” given to a business in each of the four municipalities served by the Chamber: Loxley, Robertsdale, Silverhill and Summerdale; along with the “Man of the Year” and “Woman of the Year” awards. The final award will be given for “Chamber Volunteer of the Year.”

During the evening the 2015 Chairman of the Board Carl Davis of Alfa Insurance will pass the gavel to 2016 Chairman Tim Hobbs with Baldwin EMC.

The Chamber will also acknowledge the incoming Executive Board and Board of Directors for 2016 and honor and acknowledge outgoing board members.

Additional sponsors for this year’s event are:
